Well, they say a picture is worth 1000 words, and to be perfectly honest, I'm too tired tonight to write even half that many. So, it's gonna have to be an essentially "Wordless Wednesday".
Bonus points if you can figure out what the heck I took a picture of though 
p.s. at some point in the future I may come back to this post, and actually try to write 1000 words, just not tonight!

After watching The Hurt Locker (great movie btw) and knowing your in Iraq I would suggest something to do with explosives. But I sure hope not.

Ok … actually, our Internet was out for a little while yesterday, so we decided to play amateur detectives and try to figure out why. We were a little worried when we found this bit of spliced cable that didn’t appear to be all connected any more. It turns out this was just an old wire, that had nothing to do with our outage … but I did take the opportunity to snap off a few mega close up pictures … this is the one that came out looking the “funky coolest”
… and until Josh said something, it had never even occurred to me that it might look like explosives.
