Well, they say a picture is worth 1000 words, and to be perfectly honest, I’m too tired tonight to write even half that many. So, it’s gonna have to be an essentially “Wordless Wednesday”.

Bonus points if you can figure out what the heck I took a picture of though ;-)

    After watching The Hurt Locker (great movie btw) and knowing your in Iraq I would suggest something to do with explosives. But I sure hope not.

      Ok … maybe the guessing game wasn’t such a good idea … I assure you though, definitely not explosives. Hopefully I’ve gotten this answer up before my mom sees this post, and has the same thought you did !!!

      And funny you should mention the Hurt Locker … the DVD is sitting on the desk right next to my computer as I’m typing this.

    Ok … actually, our Internet was out for a little while yesterday, so we decided to play amateur detectives and try to figure out why. We were a little worried when we found this bit of spliced cable that didn’t appear to be all connected any more. It turns out this was just an old wire, that had nothing to do with our outage … but I did take the opportunity to snap off a few mega close up pictures … this is the one that came out looking the “funky coolest”

    … and until Josh said something, it had never even occurred to me that it might look like explosives.

    Todd,
    Just read this blog and it scared me too. The first thing that came to my mind is it looked like some kind of electrical gadget or explosive. But then I questioned my thoughts and asked myself why would he be holding an explosive gadget.
    WHEW….sure glad I read the other comments above and yours, :)
