Hawaii Fireworks Show

As promised, here are a few of the fireworks shows at Hickam AFB and Magic Island. We’re lucky living here in Iroquois Point. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the beach, where we can see 2 different fireworks shows …

Magic Island is a bit off in the distance, but the Hickam show is basically right in front of us. Just after those two shows ended, we got another show from Pearl Harbor that we watched on the way home.

Magic Island is a bit off in the distance, but the Hickam show is basically right in front of us. Just after those two shows ended, we got another show from Pearl Harbor that we watched on the way home.

I took quite a few pictures, and ended up with a couple that I liked. All shots were from a tripod using my Canon 20D with a Tamron 28-75mm lens. Most were 4 second exposures at F9.0.

    Aloha and welcome home to Hawaii. So glad you’re back, Lorie, daughter, and I look forward to your pictures daily. Here in Gilbert, SC we celabrated our 50th Lexington County Peach Festival. Parade, beauty contest, crafts, music, food, PEACHES and fireworks. Lorie lives on Main Streeet so we get the best seats, it’s great. My brother is the largest, only peach farmer supporting the festival……………..the roadside stand sells peaches like hotcakes, it’s great fun. Our daughter was down from Maryland on their was to Mississippi on a mission trip, all grands were together. It was a good day. This military couldn’t be prouder. Thanks for your service in the military and your wonderful pictures. For me, you are my conection to a place and time I loved so much. Thanks Todd. Aloha Carolyn
