Arizona Nature Walk

I was getting tired of sitting in my hotel room, so I grabbed my camera this evening and went for a walk … in the little field behind the hotel. It wasn’t much of a hike, but I got a couple of pictures. :-)

It’s Arizona, so of course the first thing I took a picture of was cactus.

This little guy was kind of interesting.

There were lots of little rabbits running around. This one sat still long enough for a portrait.

Looking up, there’s a cardinal.

And just because it was sunset ..

Not the greatest pictures in the world. But hey, I got up and out of the hotel room for a bit. This was just practice for my upcoming hikes in the mountains.

      Thanks Shannon. Yes, I’d definitely suggest a visit to Arizona. I’ve only been here a couple of times myself, but I’ve enjoyed it every time.

    Nice pictures, Todd. I love the outdoors….especially if I’m staying in a hotel. Outdoors is a nice getaway for a little while.

    What’s the weather like in AZ? It’s cool here MS….and cold at night right now. We had some bad tornados here this week, but not much damage done.

      Hi Cille!

      It’s actually been pretty nice in Arizona lately … low 80s during the day, and high 50s at night. It’s supposed to cool down a bit more early next week, so that’s probably when I’m going to go hiking.

      I saw the tornados over your way, but was hoping they were mainly south of you. Glad to hear that there wasn’t much damage.
