    You also need to go and read the rules about blogging from deployment. Increased strictness over the last few years including a requirement to notify the chain of command and getting permission to blog. Penalties are really nasty for non-compliance. You also have to do this from your own computer and not any government one.

    It is all services (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard). So far the only uniformed services that don't seem to care are NOA and PHS; which says it all right there. Some are stricter than others with the rules applying to civilians and contractors.

    Posterous is on my list – went there once, tried it, like it, forgot about it LOL. It seems like a good idea for remote blogging though!
