I’m a weather forecaster in the Air Force, who currently lives at Fort Hood Texas, with my wife Ana (who sells candles) and 5 of our kids. On those rare occasions when I have spare time, I enjoy photography, golf, poker, and spending entirely too much time in front of this silly box.

I love using notebooks. It is such a relief to be able to jot things down when you think of them. I often say hold that thought, scratch something out on paper and then proceed on what I was doing. In my opinion it lets you focus more knowing you don’t have to try and remember things. Then in blogging and content production all you have to do is visit the notebook for some ideas and crank things out. Quite the time saver in GTD.

I use the slightly larger size – and I use sprial bound so that I can tear out the pages I am finished with – everything goes in – todo lists, doodles , notes on how to unbreak wordpress. I’ve tried dozens of online and electronic organiser thingies – but a notebook works best for me

    Hi Todd,

I am a journal addict, well used to be and want to be again once work slows down. I had journals for EVERYTHING– what I am grateful for, daily life, what my goals are, etc. To me, if I can get my goals on paper, there is a really good chance they will happen. Call it crazy, but it works for me. :)
