I'm a middle-aged dude who's made more than a few mistakes in his life, but boy have I learned a lot. And boy am I Lucky to be where I am, who I am, and to have the people, things and experience that I currently have. That’s what I write about.
Now I’m going to admit something here … quite a bit of what I write may turn out to be useless drivel, that’s only interesting to me, and maybe my mom. But … Every once in a while, I do also come up with stuff that’s insightful, interesting, and/or possibly even useful. You might just want to be here when that happens.

Note: as I write this, it’s March 4th, 2012. By the end of this month, I’m planning to fill out this page with descriptions, and links to my favorite posts from each topic … so be sure to check back then … that is, if I’ve done at least a reasonable job of piquing your interest

In addition to sharing my own shots, I also sometimes write up posts with photography tips (from a hobbyist’s perspective):
- How to take Fireworks Pictures is one that seemed to go over fairly well.
- How to make a Sunset picture Interesting is another that people liked.
- Using your camera to make people Dizzy .. I apologize in advance.
- Turning Ordinary pictures into ones you’ll want to Show Off was my first attempt at explaining how I (try to) use photoshop layers in my post processing.
