I’m a weather forecaster in the Air Force, who currently lives at Fort Hood Texas, with my wife Ana (who sells candles) and 5 of our kids. On those rare occasions when I have spare time, I enjoy photography, golf, poker, and spending entirely too much time in front of this silly box.

Hi Todd, I am really enjoying this series of photographs. As for 466, I like the pic but would struggle for a story too although the surroundings look fairly bleak.

Do you ever feel self conscious taking that big ol camera out everywhere? Cuz, I used to do it with pink little point & shoot no problem, I’d bust it out at a restaurant without thinking twice. But now, I feel so weird taking my big old dslr out in public. Or taking pictures around the neighborhood, I wonder what people must think.

We know the pics are “things Todd saw,” so I concur that written words are not imperative.

Snaps you take of colleagues there would be a great blessing for families at home to see. Maybe you have a whole new tribe of Flickr viewers out there. :-)
