It seems like I do this every couple of months …
It’s time to step back again and reassess my entrepreneurial endeavors.
For the past couple of months (maybe longer), I’ve been approaching my online activities from the perspective of a Blogger, who happens to have a Network Marketing business.
I think this approach has been totally backwards.
The simple fact is, when it comes to how I earn extra money; it would really be much more accurate to describe myself as a Relatively Successful Network Marketer … who also happens to have started a few Blogs.
The problem with this backwards approach is that while blogging is fun, and interesting, and I’m meeting some great new people, it’s definitely taken away some (or maybe even a lot) of focus from building my business. Ultimately, I expect that my blogs are going to be an asset when it comes to building my network marketing business. After all, blogging is a great way to meet people who may want to know, like and trust you … the essence of networking.
But in the short term, while I have made a little money from my blogs, I still earn many multiple times as much from my candle business. It seems silly not to give the actual money making endeavor the majority of my attention.
In short, I’m going to to continue to blog (because I really like doing it).
But, I’m Not in any way attempting to learn how to be a “pro blogger”.
I think in the long run continuing down the path of a Successful Part-Time Networker will prove to be much more fruitful.

That’s a good attitude Todd! I think it’s important to not take ourselves too seriously because people do see that and it’s bad for any blog. Doing things with originality and not being over influenced by other successful bloggers is my idea of the right approach.

As long as you havent been too distracted when it comes to promoting your mlm, continue to focus on your blogs too. You said it yourself, blogging is a GREAT tool to network and promote your business.
